Tuareg Cross Compass Bartchakea Talisman Necklace

This Tuareg cross necklace is handmade, with sohpisticated engraving decorating the corners of the design. Small onyx beads interspersed with silver tube beads lead to a hand-engraved silver alloy pendant with ebony and silver stacked in the signature Tuareg style. Not a commonly seen design, similar to a Bartchakea cross. 

The Tuareg originate from Mali, Algeria and Libya, but after travelling the Sahara Desert, a small group settled in the southern Moroccan Zagora province. All our Tuareg items directly from descendants of the original settlers, ensuring that fair prices are paid.
